Frank, who is named after his grandfather and founder of the winery, Francesco Calabria is the eldest of the third generation. Frank started working at the winery in the vintage season of 1991, gaining first-hand experience of how his father, Bill, ran the winery operations and processing facility. Today, Frank currently oversees winery maintenance and enjoys working on the family’s Barossa Valley and Riverina vineyards, from driving tractors, planting vines through to winter pruning.

You can often find Frank having a hit of golf at the Griffith course, he also enjoys rolling up his sleeves for the annual salami making season, which turns into many weekends of family festivities, surrounded by good company, great wine and of course home-made salami!
